Dinner at Marina Barrage

Received a call today from Patrick, to go out for dinner tonight with Terry, Edmund and him. It has been almost 3 years already that we have not meet up ever since i had ORD from the National Service in Police Force.

Being new, none of us had been to this place before so we were pretty unsure of how to get there. Well, we knew it was near to marina south and so we headed there. Thank god, Patrick drove and fetch me, or else i will get lost in this place.

Came to this newest installment of the 7th storey franchise for dinner.

It has an outdoor area, mostly for steamboat and an indoor airconed section. The service is great as the auntie continued to top up our glasses, foods served promptly, maybe they want us to finish fast to free up the table (quite alot of reservations).

Most important the food are tasty enough.

We enjoyed the meal and the view outdoors, It was nice and windy on the outside and the view of the sea was something different but there was a lot of construction going on.

All in all, i would like to come back here to try out their food and see the view

without the construction getting in the way.

Chinese New Year

CNY is one of the MOST anticipated celebrations
on the Chinese lunar calendar.

Its like very Chinese welcomes
the coming of spring and also not forgetting
the exchange of ang bao for good luck :)

Its also a special time for BUSY BEES
like me to get together to
celebrate with my family members.

However I still missed this year,
spectacular display of lights in Chinatown
and it's bustling festive street bazaars. :(

my Reunion Dinner

yellow Ginger, pickled onions, and sun-dried plums.

with sour-sweet sauce, plum sauce, and sugar.

Finally get to see them after so long...

At night, met up with the usual gang to go to Estee's House to Bian Nai.

At first play poker with the gang,
been winning a lot of money til that stupid Tong Chuan
came in.

Throughout the whole night,
i had been losing money until i'm not left with a single cent on me...
But is alright, once a year and is enjoyable with
ur beloved frens celebrating
CNY together...

My Lazy Week....

I’ve been incredibly unmotivated and lazy this week.

admit i've been super unproductive! hurhur...

somehow i just can't get into the right mood to buckle down ..

maybe my mind is distracted ?

shhhh...... eh hemmm...

oh well .. it's really time to pull my socks up !

i know i can do better ...

if not , i doubt i can survive thru with my pathetic bank account balance .. haha..

Supper at Geylang

Yesterday met up with the usual gang for supper at Geylang. As Zhiming and me reach there quite early, he decided to go to Lorong 41 to eat his favourite food,

Fermented Beancurd!!!!

When we reached there, the smell is really damn smelly, do not know why Zhiming like it so much... Decided to give it a try...

The only shop sell Fermented Beancurd in Singapore...

However, it tasted really very good!!!!

Ordered another plate after another... keke...

Soon is all gone in few minutes....

After that, we went down to Lorong 9 to meet up with the rest for our Beef Kyaw Teow... As usual everyone was late... Hahah....

After eating, the group decided to head down to somewhere near to eat durians. I don't really love to eat durians, so i can only just watch them eat :-(

As for me, i can only just drink my coconut juice....

Everyone was so enjoying with the durians.

Despite how busy we are, we will arrange almost every week to meet up once or twice to

hang out around. Looking forward meeting them again =p ..well i better stop rambling here ... Nite peeps ! i'm so tired yawnnnnn ... nitttteeeeee nite ! zzZ

New Year Eve

Was out in Marina Square yesterday after work with Peter, Zhiming & Elaine to have out dinner before meeting up with the rest.

we didnt specially pick this place for our dinner ..cuz basically we were all too lazy move to any other dining place in Marina Square .. ha ..

Dinner was pretty satisfying and of cuz enjoyed my friends company very much too .. =D
