Had a lunch appointment at Pu Tien Tampines Mall with Keavy, Chun Rong and our Primary school teacher, Mrs Tan. Finally get to see her after so long as she was unable to come up for the previous gathering. She is still so active and energtic, just cannot believe that she's turning 70 years old soon.

Disehes are good at Pu Tien. Thanks to Chun Rong's recommendations. Keke.. Stayed a little longer at the restaurant chatting about our current lives while enjoying our chinese tea. Really drank too much chinese tea, ended up going to the toilet several times. Hehe..

After the lunch we headed down to Pasir Ris Downtown East Kbox for Ktv session. Mrs Tan was unable to join us as she had to rushed back home to mark her students' homework. Actually tot of playing bowling instead of KTV, as my throat condition get worse and worse lately, but Keavy had injured her leg so we just carry on with the KTV.

After the KTV, I had to rush down to Liang Seah Street to meet Tjoei Kok, Chris and Shuxian for dinner at "Xian De lai" Steamboat. My voice now officially became very hoarse and painful after the KTV and the steamboat dinner. Have to stop going to KTV for a period of time to let my voice recover.

Went down to get supper as i was feeling so hungry. Before going home, decided to head down to 7 - 11 store nearby to see if there is anything that i need to buy. My eyes were wide open when i see this promotion "BUY 1 GET 1 FREE" for Magnum Ice cream. I was like "OMG"!! It is such a great deal!!!!

Bought 4 different flavors of the Magnum Ice cream. Luckily there is still left one more Magnum Gold left... So lucky of me....

It is very nice..The ice cream doesn't melt so fast compared to other ice cream..Everything is just so perfect for me.... Loving it!!! Don't know how long this promotion will last but i'm sure i will be going down to 7 - 11 very often for this promotion.

Gucci Vintage Web Boston

I spotted these at Gucci during work. Part of the Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Gucci collection, the Gucci Vintage Web Boston is one of Creative Director Frida Giannini’s offerings that’s inspired by the 70s. Take for example the one in blue/beige GG fabric with the classic blue/red/blue webbing (shown above). Those savvier amongst you who frequent eBay looking for vintage Gucci will often come across this combination which comes in wide variety of styles from handbags to totes.

Ke Ying's 21st Birthday

We were invited to Ke Ying's 21st birthday at Aloha Pasir Ris Chalet. Quite excited about it as finally can get to meet up with them again. Before heading down to the venue, we went down to Chris's working place to fetch her from work in Tjoei Kok's car.

As most of us felt very hungry at that moment, so we decided to grab a bite first at "Prime Cut" located at 2 Kovan Road #01-11, which is just nearby Chris's working place. Highly recommended by Tjoei kok and Chris.. =)

The ambience is good. No air conditioning, but still acceptable for a person like me who will melt under the hot temperature. Food were decent too.

I may sound abit "dirty", but TRUST ME... is really delicious!!!! keke...

After the dinner, we went back to Chris's house to bring her dog, "Hondraus" to the chalet as well... I have a soft heart for dogs and kids, just find them so adorable and cute... I just couldnt stop playing with her dog. =)

It had been 3 months since i had started this new job. Things are going well for me and most importantly, this is where my interest in - Luxury Fashion Retailing. New colleagues are great and easy to get along. And always make me spend during my break time.. Keke...

Another catching up session with BFFs

Had my 1 week of reservist training at Chua Chu Kang Home Team Academy lately. Was really very tiring as i had to wake up damn early just to reach there on time. Thank goddness i get to know someone from the training who offered to drive me there and back home since we lived nearby. Such a kind hearted person, right??!!

Anyway forget about the reservist training.. Arranged to meet up with Allen & Feeza for dinner after my last day of training. As Allen had just enlisted for NS in the beginning of June, Feeza & me were so excited to see how he look like now with his "new look".. Haha... Did ask Nana to join us too but due to work committment so she cannot join us.

Headed down to Seoul Garden at Causeway Point to have our dinner. It's always our favourite "makan" place ever since we get to know each other thru dancing few years back then.

What is love to most of you out there????

Someone you'd give your LIFE for??? Someone you CARE about more than anything??? Mutual passion and understanding???

Recently a friend of mine had just broken up with her boyfriend. At first i'm quite surprised about it as they had the thoughts of getting married when they were together. After knowing her boyfriend beated her up, i was like... DAMN!!!! AND is not the 1st time that he beated her.

Love is a bond or connection between two people that results in trust, respect and an interdependence that enhances both partners. I had quite a number of female friends of mine, who suffered this before from their boyfriends. I really don't understand why do some guys have to resort to violence when they are not happy. They don't even know how to RESPECT!!! My friends do not deserve all these beating at all!!!!

I know that it is not easy for her to make this decision to leave him cos the pain in her will last forever. Anyway be strong gal!!!! Don't look back and move on.. You will definitely find someone who will really treasure and love you.

Keep urself busy and don't think about it.. We can go KTV and sing "Single Ladies" & "Fighter" .. Keke... If you need us, we will be there for u.. Hang out soon ok??? =)

Reunion!!!!

Received an invitation from Yuan Mei aka Keavy, my Pri school classmate, thru facebook, to attend a dinner gathering with the teachers and some of our classmates. Was quite excited about it as it had been ages since I last saw them, ard 15 years ago.. I guess...

The dinner was held at Grand Hyatt Hotel, "Straits Kitchen". Last minute, most of the ex-classmates could not turn up due to their busy schedule. Mrs Barbara Tan could not turn up too, actually really do miss her a lot.. Only Me, Keavy, Chun Rong, Shihua and Mr Kamar Lim turn up for this dinner.

Dinner was OK. Straits Kitchen features an Asian-themed (more precisely, Singaporean-themed) buffet that has five different sections to it - locally-inspired appetisers, Malay cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Indian cuisine and local desserts. Surprisingly, i'm the one who eat very little among them, unbelievable right??? Keke...

Do really missed the old days, thinking back about the fun we had during school life. How i wish we can return to the past having fun in school rather than now getting so stressed up with our respectively worklife. Hehe...

After the dinner, Lawrence, Keavy and me headed down to International Building Party World KTV for a singing session, just to relax ourselves.

Will definitely make use of this chance to keep in touch with you guys again and hang out...

Food with Retail Theraphy...

The last time I went there "Carousel" was about a year ago for their dinner buffet and they never fail to delight me with their impressive spread of local and international delights, with comfortable seating arrangement as well.

So this time round, decided to try their Hi-Tea Buffet with Kimberly and Shuxian. Luckily reservation was made or else we might not get a table as is full house on that day.

The spread of dishes is not as much compared to their dinner buffet, but still.... IT TASTE GREAT!!!!!

But if you're looking for even more variety I'd suggest you come for lunch or dinner instead, where you'd get your sushi, crabs, mussels, prawns, sirloin steak, crayfish etc. Otherwise, the high-tea here is just great and worth the money you're paying for.

You can get sashimi like salmon and white fish, boiled prawns and crab claws, salads, sandwiches, maki etc. Then, the hot food counters where you get popiahs, takos, kebabs, satay and another section of Asian delights such as mee siam, laksa, curry yong tau foo, rice etc. Desserts include muffins, scones, chocolate fountain, assorted cakes, bread and butter pudding etc. Oh... and loved the Lychee Flavoured Tea a lot.. NICE!!!

After the buffet, decided to shop around at DFS Galleria which is just beside Royal Plaza on Scotts. But before that....

We should meet up more often and bring laughter to everyone again.. Hahaha... The next meet up i guess will be meeting up for Ke ying's 21st birthday... So c u guys there....

Arranged to meet up with BFFs, Allen, Feeza and Nana, for dinner at Grand Hyatt Hotel "Oasis". Thanks to Mens Style Magazine that we can dine in for free.

It is set amid lush greenery and in tranquil surroundings, the hotel poolside restaurant Oasis features weekly BBQ buffet dinner inclusive of free flow beer, wine and soft drink. Grill and chill at Oasis as the chefs prepare your meat and seafood selection to your own preference on the open charcoal-fired grills.

Nana was supposed to join us too but she finished work only at 10pm, so we meet her after her work.

Food was equally good. They serve nothing but quality barbeque food. They have corn, potato, kway teow, some fried rice, some salads, and the bbq food includes prawns, salmon, squids, beef ribs, chicken steak, lamb chop, chicken sausage and beef hotdog. As for desserts, they had creme brulee, sorbet, brownie cake, raspberry tart and ice cream. Every single helping would make you yearn for more.

Once we seated at our table, suddenly a "Bapok" keep walking behind Feeza. When the "live" band started singing, this "Bapok" keep singing to the lyrics and throwing "imaginary bombs" to everyone, including me..

Always been my favourite brand of glasses...

Been wearing contact lens almost everyday for long hours,

Meet up with my collegues on Wed night after work for KTV session at Shenton Way Party World. Luckily Kimberly's friend is working there, therefore we managed to get a big room for just the 13 of us. The best thing is that we can also bring our own alcohol!!!

Gobi Dessert

Made a trip down to The Central, meeting some friends. On my way, walked past this shop by the name of Gobi desserts. For those who didn't know, Gobi specialises in bite sized finesse pastries and has its main outlet at Katong Mall. Was attracted to walk in and study those little pretty confectionaries. :-)

Bought a box of 12 to try. $25.80 netts you 12 different aesthetically pleasing pastries, all of which are simply delectable. I honestly don't remember how each individual one tasted like, but i do know for a fact that i liked all of them. :-P

Oh ya.. When i was going to the taxi stand, i met into filzy.. She is working temporarily at a Taxi concierge for The Central. It's been a long time since i last met her.. Missed her so much and those days dancing together with her.

"Fei Jies" Late Night Gathering

Very very last minute arranged to meet up with my "Fei Jies" at Causeway Point on a Friday night as the 3 of us do not have to work or school the next day.

Feeza's ex bf kept calling to track where she was.. Alr broke up and yet disturbing her.. In the end, they had an heated arguement on the phone...

After our dinner, we thought of going to a bar to drink and chat. Allen do not want to go to town as he was just wearing slippers and bermudas only, so he suggested to go to East Coast Park to drink.

During our journey to East Coast Park, never failed to cam whoring... Hehe...

When we reached there, the whole place was so quiet and the bars were so boring with their music and the crowd. After so much persuading Allen, he finally gave in to go to town. He should have done that earlier..

Their drinks menu offered a wide range of exotic one of a kind drinks. The list of drinks was quite long and appealing that Allen had problems picking a drink. But come to food, Allen had no problem with that... :-P

On the way back to Woodlands... Everyone on the bus were tired and sleeping in the bus.. Only the 3 of us were chatting away so loud..

Back to Woodlands, we hanged out under a void deck to watch "Dance Flick" on my lap top. Were laughing away with some funny scenes in the movie.

Dinner at Far East Plaza

Met up with Theresa and Mae for dinner. Theresa had to go down to Far East Plaza for a haircut before having dinner, so might as well had dinner here. Lazy to travel here and there.. Hahaha...

Heard a lot of gd comments from my friends about this SU Korean cuisine, so decided to give it a try.

Located at the basement of this teenage centric shopping mall, a cafe like interior, with plenty of booth seats and minimalistic decor.

We ordered a set mean for 2 - 3 ppl. It comprised of 1 Bibimbap (with choice of chicken, beef or seafood), one ginseng chicken soup, fried seafood pancake with green onion and one plate of pork collar for BBQ.

As with all korean meals, they serve you the side dishes and here they will give you 8 types.

Here comes the BBQ meat...

The BBQ comes with a basket of vegetables to wrap the BBQ meats. Wrap the still hot meat in the vege, put one slice of garlic & carrot and dab a little bean paste sauce on it and put all these in your mouth. Very very nice!!!

Ginseng chicken was nice. One whole chicken was used, and the glutinous rice inside the chicken was heavenly! Fragrant and tasty!!!!

Poor Reuben, just finished his work and he looked damn shag.

Service was courteous and efficient. Although there were only a handful of staffs, they moved about quickly attending to the work.

After a sastifying meal, went to the dessert shop, "SLICE", just beside the restaurant.

SLICE sells dessert which is made up of flavoured ice, sliced into many fine layers and stacked into a tall pyramid, complemented with puree and toppings. Very popular Taiwanese dessert.

Very sparsely furnished, all it has is a counter and a number of tables and plastic chairs.

Each flavour comes complete with a name and story depicts a SLICE of everyone's life, like "FIRST KISS", "FIRST DATE", "LOVERS TIFF" and etc.... Haha...

Ordered 2 of it. The first one is "FIRST DATE", which combined the grape ice with aloe vera and blueberry puree.

The second one we ordered is "MAJOR CRUSH", which mainly is milk ice, crushed oreos and scoops of chocolate sauce. Everyone of us was digging in this heartily. Hehe..

The shaved ice somehow melted too quickly, don't really like the "FIRST DATE" , was kinda too sour for me. Only like chocolate!!!! Hehe.... Btw, there's a happy hour promotion (sun - thurs 6-8pm), where you get your 2nd dessert at half price. Maybe can give it try again on other flavours. =)

Supper with colleagues

A last min plan by Tjoei kok to go for supper, so met up with Chris, John and Kimberly after work to eat steamboat at Liang Seah street. Went to one of my favourite Hot Pot restaurant, Xian De Lai.

That day was crowded but luckily the staff managed to get a table for us.

Ordered the clear chicken soup and spicy chicken soup, which you can eat the fried crispy chicken meat before they add the broth into the pot.

As usual the place is always crowded and noisy...

I was feeling very cold throughout the eating session, as our table was just directly under the air-con. Think i was the only one wearing a jacket in the restaurant while eating steamboat. Haha...

Good place for large noisy group gatherings like us.. haha.. as you can just sit down and talk, without need to get food.

Headed down to a nearby cafe, Tong Shui Cafe and ordered some desserts to eat. I don't really fancy their dessert they have, however good thing is that this cafe open til 6am and they have a hugh Plasma TV. We can stayed there late to chat and watch free movies.. Hahaha....

Reuben's Birthday

This is the first time we were hanging out together ever since the ION course, just a few days ago.. This is called "FATE" that brought us close together.. Hahaha....

Another reason was... Reuben's birthday coming, so deceided to arrange to hang out after work. Had supper first before out KTV session.

ION P.R.I.D.E Course

Was posted to ION Orchard Branch on the 21st July... Hmm.. Another new environment...

For those who work in ION Orchard were required to attend a 2 days course organised by the ION Management to improve on our customer service skills, as the management wanted the mall to be well known in the world wide in terms of providing best customer service and shopping experience to the shoppers.

P.S: I don't really like the ION management in many factors... Eeeee.....

Anyway had to wake up early for these 2 days course.. Argh!!! SO TIRED!!!! The course was somehow similar to what i had attended for the Vivo Service Excellence course previously. At first felt kinda shy as i do not really know anyone in the course, but somehow activities and games were held to break the bond between one another throughout these 2 days.

Get to know a lot of ppl from the course and we will be seeing each other quite often as most of us are working in ION Orchard. Can visit each other and get discounts.. Hahaha...

Today had to go down to Suntec City to take some nice Window display photos for my Visual Merchandising Project for my company. I called up Allen to come down accompany me because felt so boring being alone and it's been ages since we last met.

Met up during afternoon and both of us were damn hungry... Went down to Marina Sq Sakae Sushi for a Tea Buffet from 3pm - 6pm...

It was Allen's first time having his meal at Sakae Sushi. He was very "Ku Ku" loh.. Don't know what this.. Don't know what's that.... Hahaha...

That Allen can really eat a lot more than me, even though there's a different in our size... Haha.. This pic is just the 2nd round.. Believe me... The first round was even more worst...

After the buffet, started to cam whoring again before heading down to Feeza's workplace at Paragon...

Met up with Feeza during her smoking break, and cam whoring AGAIN!!! Hahaha...

Feeza had to go back to work and we decide to wait for her til 9pm. And now it was only 7pm!!! There's nothing for us to do and GUESS WAT????

We waited very long for her and cannot tahan already... We went in to her shop "GUESS KIDS" and disturbed her..

As usual, this "SLACKER" was reading some magazine / newspapers at the cashier counter and busy talking with her collegues.. Hahah...

And Finally!!!!! She had finished work and headed down to Shaw House "Mac Cafe" to chill....

"Kuishin-bo" Japanese Buffet Restaurant

Meeting up with Zhiming, Xiaolin, Wencong and Estee that evening for dinner at Suntec City "Kuishin-bo" Japanese Buffet Restaurant. I booked in advance.. 1 week in advance for a Thurs Night dinner.. knowing that it will always be crowded even in weekday nights.

Kuishin-Bo is a culinary market-place where you order from several different open kitchens, each representing a different Japanese cooking style. The great thing is you can try many different kinds of Japanese food in one visit. This is the buffet that is worth going.

I had lots of Ebi Tempura and Salmon sashimi, tried on teppanyaki which quite well done. Xiaolin had her first plate of her snow crabs.. Her face expression was so aggressive while cutting up the legs of the Snow Crabs.

Her 2nd plate.. She just could not stop eating the Snow Crabs throughout the whole dinner... Haha...

Ppl, pls look at how Xiaolin eat her food.... HAHA...

My favourite was the superbly fresh & delightfully sweet Alaskan Snow King Crabs, which was the hottest cold dish in the buffet. It’s great, sweetness lingers in my mouth the moment I placed the meat in my mouth. Don’t think that it’s just crab legs. When you use scissors, one whole piece come out one, and one bite sent you to heaven. This is broken english description, but it’s simply great. Thanks to the recommendation from Xiaolin.

Headed down to Suntec City Cotton ON, as Wencong had to go back there to help out in the shop setup. Try out some of their acessories in the shop... Hahaha....

Anyway, I would like to thank Fina, Ben, Zhiming, Xiaolin, Wencong, Wenbo, Luo Song, John, Peter, Meiyuan, Kelly, Yulian, ZiGuo, Louis, Bee Eng, Irene and Tjoei Kok for this birthday present, "French Connection" Watch. Really love it a lot!!!!! Thank You!!!!!

On the 30th April, Global Sports Brand Pte Ltd (FILA) announced its partnership with the Singapore Bowling Federation (SBF) as the National Team Partner at the official opening of its FILA boutique in Tampines 1.

Guests started coming in, consists of ppl from the media and Singapore national team bowlers as well.. In the beginning, a speech given by our Brand Manager, Kenneth, followed by the President of the Singapore Bowling Federation, Mrs Jessie Phua.

To coincide with the official opening of the FILA boutique, Singapore bowler Remy Ong signed on the FILA apparel sponsored by Global Sports Brand. This would be showcased in the Tampines 1 FILA boutique. A specially designed 2010 bowling apparel themed “AIM” for SBF bowlers was also launched at the FILA boutique’s official opening, where the design is aligned with bowling in mind.

Launch of UNIQLO in Tampines 1

Our first UNIQLO store in Singapore, the much-awaited UNIQLO Tampines 1 Store open in Eastern Singapore on Thursday, April 9, 2009.

UNIQLO designs, manufactures, markets and sells casual wear that can be worn by anyone, any day. Rather than dictate a look, UNIQLO provides people everywhere with the piece they need to create their own style. And style comes from within, which is why the UNIQLO logo is nearly invisible, tucked away inside the garment.

Went down on the 9th April, the official opening of Uniqlo, ppl are queuing up to enter the UNIQLO shop. It is quite big inside but still lose out to those in Japan and Hong Kong. I started to love this brand ever since i had went to one of the branch in Hong Kong.

These are some of the stuffs i bought, spent almost $200 in there. They had a 10 day Opening Celebration Offers from 9 - 19April for Tees at $19.90(U.P. $24.90) Denim jeans at $49.90 (U.P. $69.90). Hurry down to grab it!!!

UNIQLO is also planning to open a second store in central Singapore in August in the new ION Orchard commercial facility, a building that is expected to become a new landmark on Orchard Road. It will be much more bigger than the one in Tampines 1.

Until today, UNIQLO is still so crowded almost everyday. If one day, my favourite brand, "H&M", come into Singapore, i think the crowd will be even more crowded than Uniqlo. BUT...

Dinner at Marina Barrage

Received a call today from Patrick, to go out for dinner tonight with Terry, Edmund and him. It has been almost 3 years already that we have not meet up ever since i had ORD from the National Service in Police Force.

Being new, none of us had been to this place before so we were pretty unsure of how to get there. Well, we knew it was near to marina south and so we headed there. Thank god, Patrick drove and fetch me, or else i will get lost in this place.

Came to this newest installment of the 7th storey franchise for dinner.

It has an outdoor area, mostly for steamboat and an indoor airconed section. The service is great as the auntie continued to top up our glasses, foods served promptly, maybe they want us to finish fast to free up the table (quite alot of reservations).

Most important the food are tasty enough.

We enjoyed the meal and the view outdoors, It was nice and windy on the outside and the view of the sea was something different but there was a lot of construction going on.

All in all, i would like to come back here to try out their food and see the view

without the construction getting in the way.

Chinese New Year

Yesterday met up with the usual gang for supper at Geylang. As Zhiming and me reach there quite early, he decided to go to Lorong 41 to eat his favourite food,

When we reached there, the smell is really damn smelly, do not know why Zhiming like it so much... Decided to give it a try...

Joint Charity Campaign‏

Last Friday, my company had a Fila Joint Charity Campaign with salvation army. It held for 4 days from 19th - 22nd Dec in all Fila Boutiques.

"Donate your old pair of sports shoes and entitle to buy our new arrival footwear at $60.00 & GET REWARDED with fila shopping voucher worth $60".... Isn't it a good deal???

At the middle is the white box we use to donate in all old sports shoes.

Response was good from the public and our VIPS. Had been so busy during these 4 days and finally is over!!!! keke...

On the last day juz received an email on our reshufflement with effect from 5th Jan. I will be posted to Velocity from 5th Jan onwards. It has its good and its bad of transferring there, but kinda sick and tired transferring from shop to shop regularly.

This year, i already transfer from Taka to OG during Feb, OG to Plaza Singapura during April, Plaza Singpura to Tampines Mall during May, Tampines Mall to Vivo City during August and SOON, from Vivo City to Velocity... I kinda feeling very down about it, just hope that it will turn out well at Velocity.

The decor of the shop is totally amazing, with a small carriage inside giving it an extra feel.

The chairs are totally comfy with a heavily cushioned high back and arm-rest, makes u want to just sit down on it the whole day. Whats more, its so quiet given the few customers they have, its almost as if the restaurant is all yours.

I quite like the ambience of the place. Compared to the crowd outside at the mall, the cafe was a nice quiet retreat to catch up with friends.

I won't say the food there is fantastic but I don't mind trying their other stuff again. Besides, I hadn't had the chance to try their home-made ice creams yet.

Today is my off day... Finally thank god!!!
